DSCF0004 Taken with my cell phone, so you'll have to excuse how bad it looks. I took this two days after I bought it. The day before I had just installed the stabilizer quick disconnects and I don't think they are very quick at all! You can see the pin to disconnect right next to the bumper. Took me about two hours to do this. by James Wilson

DSCF0005 Here you can see my spare tire does not match the rest of the tires. As soon as I replace my bumper and my tire carrier I plan on replacing this stock tire with one that matches the rest of my tires. by James Wilson

DSCF0007 We found a large puddle and decided to mix it up a bit, turning the puddle into one huge mud pit. You wouldn't know by the picture that my Jeep is supposed to be blue. by James Wilson

DSCF0008 After a couple more hours of running through the puddle I decided to stop and draw faces and a cross on my headlights. These are the ultra-bright headlights but you wouldn't know it with all the mud covering it. by James Wilson

DSCF0010 This was taken after driving home with no headlights. Well, the headlights WERE on except nobody could see them. Since I lived close by I didn't bother to stop and clean them off. I pulled up on my lawn so I could wash the mud off but had to draw more faces on my headlights and take some more pictures. by James Wilson

DSCF0012 Same as above except rear-view. The back didn't get a lot of mud on it at all. I only got stuck once where it required me to be pulled out. The rest of the time I was able to work my way out by myself. by James Wilson

DSCF0013 Map of the river-run made by Garrett, Carey and myself. This route started on the south side of Norman and ended just outside Purcell. I can't say how many miles we drove from start to finish but I can say taking the freeway back was 18 miles and there were more turns and twists on the river than on the freeway. by James Wilson

DSCF0014 My Jeep is on the left on top of what's called a Razor, which is the very peak of the hill that is very narrow. You have to be careful; too little power and you can't get all the way up, too much power and you end up flying over the other end. Garrett's Jeep is on the right, he didn't give it enough power so he's stuck there until he backs up and tries again. Usually it's the other way around where Garrett is up there and I'm stuck on the side, but I never take pictures of that sort of stuff. by James Wilson

DSCF0015 The same picture as above, except Cary is leaning against my Jeep and you can see Adam and Cody (Garrett's 7 year old son) on the other side of it. By the way, today is Cody's birthday! by James Wilson

DSCF0016 This is on top of a very mild Razor. They have sharp razors that could high-center my Jeep. Here I have taken my top down. by James Wilson

DSCF0017 We went back to camp and removed my doors and dropped my windshield for this run. My Jeep was like a stripper; every time you turn around she had something else off. That is Garrett standing on the other side of my Jeep with Adam inside of it. by James Wilson

DSCF0020 This is actually a pretty good picture for using a cellphone camera. Garrett is standing on the other side of my Jeep admiring his weld job. It held up pretty good. by James Wilson

DSCF0021 Yet another view of the Jeep. That stool looks very flimsy, but obviously it isn't. Before I put my Jeep on it Cary put his Chevrolet Colorado to the test. If it can hold up the Colorado, my Jeep was no match. by James Wilson

DSCF0022 I hadn't taken any pictures of my Jeep in a while and I've installed a winch so I thought I'd show it off. I took this winch off of my LUV project and put on my Jeep. Eventually this winch will go back on the LUV truck but since the engine needs to be rebuilt on the truck I decided to at least use the winch from it. by James Wilson

DSCF0023 Here's the other side of the Jeep. The front driveshaft was removed because of a vibration I've been feeling while driving on the highway. The past few days I had cleaned my Jeep spotless but when Garrett and I went to test out the winch at Pole Road. I tried to be careful to avoid the mud but ended up sliding into a deep rut and getting myself stuck. With no trees in sight Garrett had to make a phone call and have a friend bring his Jeep. My winch did pull me out so we know it works fine. by James Wilson

DSCF0024 Closeup of the winch. Brand new winch tray and rollers, plus I had the end holding the hook redone thanks to me being stupid and taking the eye apart to pull it through the rollers. I didn't know it takes a 500 pound press to put it back together. Cost me $17.50 to put a new end on it so that wasn't bad. by James Wilson

DSCFGONE Sunday, November 19th, 2006 at 4:30 PM I was towing my Jeep with my van when I the tread on my passenger side rear tire fell off causing me to lose control of my van. The Jeep rolled several times before stopping on it's top in the middle of oncoming traffic. Neither I nor anyone else was hurt by the accident, but both the van and Jeep was totaled. by James Wilson
